Hi, I’m Maj Vrhovec

I’ve spent my life obsessed with the architecture of sound. As the frontman for Pop Design—one of Slovenia’s most iconic and legendary bands—and a specialist in the “dark art” of mastering, I bridge the gap between raw performance and polished, world-class production.

My journey has been defined by a dual perspective: the high-energy intuition required to lead a stadium-filling act and the surgical precision needed to perfect a final mix.

Located in the serene forests of Kočevje, Slovenia, Green Lynx Mastering is a reflection of my two greatest loves: nature and sound.

Why Green Lynx Mastering?

The Green: Slovenia is defined by its lush landscapes, and Kočevje is its emerald heart.
The Lynx: Native to our local forests, the lynx possesses some of the most acute hearing in the animal kingdom.

Mastering requires that same level of “predatory” focus—the ability to hear the smallest imperfections and the hidden potential within a track. I bring a boutique, high-end feel to every project, ensuring your music doesn’t just sound loud, but alive.
